Job description

Kaleidoscope is looking to hire a Landscape Apprentice who will provide high-quality landscaping services, including planting, trimming, cleanups, and lawn maintenance to enhance outdoor spaces for residential and or commercial clients.


JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Weeding and grooming planting beds and containers.
  • Plant installation and apply organic applications.
  • Plant installation.
  • Pruning.
  • Mulching
  • Mowing.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Effectively communicate with clients, and crew members clearly in English.
  • Good hand/ eye coordination.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Desire to increase Horticulture knowledge.
  • Able to operate power equipment.
  • 3 years driving experience with a clean driving record.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS


  • Able to stand or sit for an extended period.
  • Able to lift and carry 55+ lbs. and stamina to tolerate 10-hour workday.
  • Able to lift above shoulder, bend stoop, kneel, climb, and crawl.



WORKING ENVIRONMENT & HOURS

  • Work outside in all weather conditions.
  • Exposure to gas fumes, chemicals, solvents, and fertilizers.
  • Moderate to loud noise level.
  • Must personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • You must wear Kaleidoscope on top, work pants, and work shoes.
  • Four 10-hour days with rotating days off (hours may change depending on business need).

GROWTH & DEVELOPMENT


Landscape Apprentice: Starting wage $22.00/hour.

Landscape Crew: $24.00/hour.

Landscape Lead: $27.00/hour.

Landscape Sr. Lead: $29.00/hour.
