Positions available:

Electrical Apprentice

Wage / Hours:

This position is a full-time, non-exempt position. Pay is hourly plus commission (Details about pay to be discussed in interview. Our business hours are 7am-6pm. Our schedules vary based on workload. Working hours may exceed 8 hours a day and may exceed 40 hours per week during busier times of the year. Weekend on call is mandatory for electricians, rotational basis.

Location:

This position is performed on the road in the greater Seattle area. Our service range is: North: Everett Area, South: Federal Way Area, East: North Bend.

We have two locations, one in Everett and one in Tukwila.

Job Duties / Responsibilities:

Gather information and data about equipment being installed, noting levels and readings of different components on equipment to ensure proper operation.

Work with office staff to pick up correct material and equipment from one of our shops to match what was purchased by customer. Install and service residential electrical services in customers home.

Engage in client discussions professionally and politely to uncover their needs and works with their team leaders to address issues if beyond knowledge base.

Job Requirements / Skills:

Understanding and follow through in Greenwoods Core Values and Mission Statement.

Confident and professional communication skills via phone and face to face interaction with homeowners and team members.

Experience with and able to navigate mobile devices (Apple products) with the ability to learn new software.

Attention to detail when debriefing office or homeowner about your findings in the field.

Service oriented and ability to interact with all customer service scenarios (positive and negative). Ability to empathize and work through challenging problem-solving situations.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Electrical experience preferred, electrical WA State Trainee license required

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Must be able to be on your feet / knees for extended periods of time.

Must be able to work in crawl spaces and attics for periods of time.

-Must be able to work on ladders and drive a company vehicle.
