We are seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer to join our Duluth, GA team! Come join us!

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Delivers structural engineering plans, complex designs, and systematic testing methodologies to facilitate the planning, construction, and maintenance services associated with bridges, foundations, and other ancillary structures.
  • Reviews client business requirements and project specifications to ensure construction projects are developed accordingly.
  • Leads the delivery of projects following contract guidelines, meeting project schedules, managing assets within project budgets and producing quality products.

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science Civil Engineering
  • 10 - 15 years of progressive professional experience designing bridges
  • Demonstrated experience leading and delivering complex projects
  • Diverse body of work in the bridge design industry
  • Experience coaching and leading lower-level professionals
  • Experience delivering quality projects following demonstrated QC/QA protocols
  • GDOT experience preferred Good written and verbal communication skills

Technical requirements:

  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Georgia or comparable license within the United States
  • Licensed Structural Engineer with successful completion of 16-hour exam preferred
  • Master of Civil Engineering preferred
  • Substantial Experience with AASHTO LRFD
  • Experience with Bluebeam, ProjectWise, Bentley Engineering software, and GDOT in house design software preferred

Other miscellaneous qualities:

  • Ability to travel, if so what 25% of the time
  • Memberships in Professional Organizations
