Software Engineer
Revature  |  United States (Remote to Start)

About Revature
Revature is a technology services company that builds and deploys high-performing engineering
talent for enterprise clients. AI is reshaping what enterprises need from their engineers, and we are
building the engineers who are ahead of that shift. We are expanding our engineering team and
looking for experienced software engineers who want to grow their careers while working on
meaningful projects with leading enterprise organizations.

The Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team and work on enterprise client engagements.
You will collaborate with client business and technology teams, contribute to real software projects,
and develop your skills in AI-assisted development, working at the intersection of software and AI,
where demand is growing fastest.
All new engineers begin with our 4-week FDE Foundations program at no cost to you. It is hands-on,
designed to sharpen your technical skills and AI fluency on real tools before your first client
engagement so you come out more capable and more marketable. Strong performers are selected
for our paid training program, positioning them for placement on enterprise client projects upon
graduation.

What You Will Do
• Contribute to software development projects for enterprise clients
• Write clean, maintainable code across the full stack
• Apply AI and GenAI tools to improve development speed and quality
• Work directly with client stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation
• Collaborate with a team of engineers in a fast-paced, client-focused environment

What We Are Looking For
• 3 to 6 years of software development experience
• Strong Java Full Stack background required
• Python experience a plus
• Strong communication skills; comfortable working directly with business and technical
stakeholders
• Proactive and able to work independently
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Open to relocation anywhere in the US (role is virtual to start; relocation will be required based
on client placement, specific location not known at time of hire)

Compensation and Growth
• Starting compensation $60,000, increasing to $100,000 upon client placement
• Structured salary increases following placement
• Forward deployed engineering is one of the fastest-growing, highest-paid engineering tracks
in the market — this role puts you on that path
• Medical benefits
• Paid time off
• 401(k)
• FDE Foundations program included at no cost
