Can you be a prosthetist without a degree?

Becoming a prosthetist typically requires completing a formal education program, such as a bachelor's or master's degree in prosthetics and orthotics, along with certification from a recognized professional board. Most states or countries also mandate licensing or registration, which generally involves meeting educational and practical experience requirements. Therefore, it is not possible to legally practice as a prosthetist without the necessary degree and credentials.
