Job description

SUMMARY


Stewart Mechanical Inc. is currently hiring HVAC apprentices interested in gaining experience in the HVAC field with advancement goals. Apprentice applicants should have trade experience and be willing able to join an apprentice program.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Responsible for cleaning and preparing construction sites in preparation for HVAC work.
  • Assists in unloading and loading materials
  • Assists when necessary with foremen and apprentices.
  • Understanding of basic construction tools
  • Keep work area clean, preparing equipment for use and returning equipment after use.
  • It is important that apprentice has an ability to see what needs to be done to keep the crew moving efficiently, and is a self-starter.
  • Construction experience is a plus

  • Work with power tools (saws, drills, jack hammers, roto hammers, etc.)
  • Work with equipment (Jumping jacks, scissor lifts, excavators, etc.)
