Job Description
What You'll Do
You'll be part of a team that gets things done, works with purpose, and takes pride in the results. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
  • Assist in pulling wire for PV string, DC, and AC feeder systems
  • Complete plug-and-play module connections and manage module leads
  • Perform DC terminations and label wiring for string wire, combiners, and inverters
  • Support AC terminations at inverters, transformers, and switchgear
  • Assist in electrical testing: insulation resistance and voltage tests
  • Interpret construction drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installs
  • Use hand and power tools to install racking and modules per design
  • Participate in daily safety and work planning meetings
  • Complete tasks using KE's internal software systems for reporting and documentation
  • Learn from leadership and ask questions to gain a full understanding of assignments
  • Communicate proactively with supervisors regarding issues or deviations from scope

You're someone who wants to learn, grow, and contribute to building renewable infrastructure. Successful candidates typically bring:
  • Enrollment and good standing in the KE Apprenticeship Program
  • Willingness to travel (up to 100%)
  • Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions
  • Prior documented electrical hours (if applicable)
