Job description

1 | SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for learning and performing a variety of duties primarily supporting our Service Department and our customers in the area of truck and fleet maintenance repairs.
2 | MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

During your apprenticeship, you are a full-time or part-time, paid employee who will complete a development program with the support of our coaching technicians and managers. Our agreement with you ensures you receive the following upon successful completion:

  • Desires to develop their skill set and product knowledge through classroom, hands-on, and virtual training.
  • Performs scheduled maintenance.
  • Willing to become certified to perform State Inspections.
  • Willing to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License
  • Able to complete repairs as outlined.
  • Ability to document repairs on work orders.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Maintains a clean work bay environment.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Promotes cooperation and teamwork.
  • Willing to train and maintain certifications necessary as ongoing technician training and development.

  • Must be willing to purchase and acquire appropriate tooling set for the position.

ADDITIONAL PROGRAM INFORMATION: Apprentice Technicians will be assigned a Mentor and one year training program. Optional tool program, that includes toolbox and basic set of tools are available. Upon successful completion of Apprentice Program employee will transition into the normal individual dealership development programs for continuing growth and development.

3 | ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

Reports directly to our Dealership Service Manager. Able to support all other departments as needed to support our customers experience and meeting their expectations.
