Job description

MUST BE LOCAL TO AUSTIN – NO TRAVELERS – NO PER DIEM

Way Mechanical is a mechanical and plumbing contractor located in Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, Fort Worth and Houston. We specialize in commercial air conditioning, plumbing, piping, service, and the maintenance of these systems. Way Mechanical is a great place to work and build a career!

Responsibilities:

  • Assist pipefitter journeyman
  • Assemble and install hangers, pipe, and fittings using couplings, clamps, flanges, bolts
  • Assist Journeyman with piping systems include Chilled Water, Heating Water, Refrigeration, Condensate, Steam, and Condenser Water piping
  • Work with Journeymen to understand installation of piping systems according to the contract drawings, shop drawings, and details
  • Keeps work area clean and in an orderly condition.  Follows all company and jobsite/OSHA safety regulations
  • Ability to take direction with a good attitude

Qualifications:

  • Preferred 1 year minimum of Commercial or Industrial work experience
  • Able to stand, lift, put together, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 lbs. without assistance
  • Reliable transportation
