Job description

Traveling Pipefitter / Boilermaker

(Natural Gas Pipeline Projects)

We are seeking experienced Pipefitters with Boilermaker backgrounds to join our team for long-term, 100% traveling work on natural gas pipeline construction projects. This position supports major pipeline installations, repairs, and upgrades and requires skilled craftsmen who are safety-focused, reliable, and comfortable working on the road for extended periods.

This is a physically demanding, hands-on role in industrial environments and is ideal for individuals with strong pipefitting, structural, and heavy industrial experience.

 

Pay - $30-40.00/hour Depending on Experience

Daily Per Diem - $178/day plus full benefits

Project Locations – Texas and Northern Michigan

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform pipefitting and boilermaker work on natural gas pipeline projects
  • Carry and stage materials (pipe, fittings, flanges, valves, gaskets)
  • Layout, fit-up, install, modify, and repair piping systems, components, and structures
  • Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and job specifications
  • Assist with setting, aligning, and securing pipe, vessels, supports, and related components
  • Assist with bolt-ups, structural fit-up, equipment installation, and related industrial tasks
  • Follow all site-specific safety rules, company policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Work as part of a crew in changing weather conditions and remote job sites

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Pipefitter and/or Boilermaker in industrial construction
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, isos, and construction drawings
  • Strong knowledge of industrial safety practices
  • Ability to perform heavy physical labor, including lifting, climbing, and working at heights
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Willingness and ability to travel 100% for extended durations
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to pass required background checks and drug testing
  • Valid driver’s license required
