Job description

Essential Duties

  • Assemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing, or welding equipment.
  • Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances such as water heaters, or fixtures such as sinks or toilets, using hand or power tools.
  • Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks.
  • Service plumbing.
  • On-call rotation.


Education & Training

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required


Skills & Experience

  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in plumbing, preferred
  • Strong mathematical, mechanical, and technical skills
  • Ability to monitor gauges, dials, or other indications to make sure a machine is working properly
  • Working knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
  • A current valid driver’s license is required
