Van Maanen Electric currently has positions open for electrical helpers, apprentice, and experienced electricians throughout central Iowa. We are looking for hard working, motivated individuals who are wanting to take their career in the construction industry to the next level. Van Maanen Electric offers great pay, as well as an awesome comprehensive benefits package and substantial room for growth.
Van Maanen Electric operates largely throughout Central Iowa, with job sites ranging from large commercial, underground, light industrial, and service work. We are affiliated with the ABC of Iowa apprenticeship program, which means all of our employees have the opportunity to enroll in this four year program and obtain their Journeyman electrical license.   • Must be able to pass a drug screen/physical/ extensive work fit test as well as a background check
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and means of transportation
  • At least 6 months electrical experience
  • Strong work ethic/ attitude
  • Ability to take direction
  • Must be able to lift 100 lbs at times
  • Ability to work alone as well as in a team setting
  • Ability to work long hours, and show up on time every day
