Role Description The Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist role at Fastenal is a full-time, on-site position based in Indianapolis, IN. The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machines to produce precision components according to engineering specifications and production schedules. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, selecting appropriate tooling, performing machine adjustments, and verifying dimensions using measuring instruments.
