Shift: 1st or 2nd (10% shift premium for 2nd shift)
Overtime: Available
Experience Level: 3–5+ years
Work Authorization: Required (U.S. Person)

---

Why This Role Exists

Aerodyn is growing — and so is our demand for skilled CNC machinists. This role is essential to meeting increased production needs across aerospace and high-performance sectors. We’re investing in new talent, equipment, and capabilities — and need experienced machinists to help take us to the next level.

---

The Work You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Set up and operate CNC mills or lathes to machine aerospace components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings
  • Maintain tight tolerances down to ±0.0001” for high-performance parts
  • Work with exotic materials such as Inconel, Hast-X, Titanium, and 17-4 Stainless
  • Perform basic G-code edits or full programming if capable
  • Use micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and other inspection tools to verify quality
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and other machinists to meet deadlines and solve problems

---

️ Machines, Controls & Software

You’ll work with equipment such as:

  • Machines: Haas VMCs, Okuma lathes, Kitamura, DMG Mori, and more
  • Controls: Fanuc, Okuma OSP, Haas, Celos
  • CAM Software: Mastercam (if programming involved)
  • Inspection Tools: Calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, indicators, CMM

---

Materials You’ll Work With

  • Inconel
  • Hast-X
  • 17-4 Stainless
  • Titanium
  • Aluminum

---

✅ What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • 3–5+ years of CNC machining experience (mill, lathe, or both)
  • Experience reading blueprints and interpreting GD&T
  • Strong understanding of setups, tooling, and offsets
  • Able to hold tight tolerances and inspect precision parts
  • Reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented

Preferred:

  • Experience in aerospace or high-performance machining
  • Familiarity with Fanuc, Okuma, Haas, or Kitamura controls
  • G-code / M-code editing or full programming skills
  • Mastercam or CAM software exposure

---

‍ Why Machinists Like Working Here

Machinists choose Aerodyn because:

  • Clean, climate-controlled, modern facility
  • Flexible shift options with competitive shift premiums
  • Complex, low-volume aerospace work — not production
  • Realistic schedules and steady workflow
  • Regular overtime availability
  • Career path into setup, programming, or leadership

---

Pay, Benefits & Schedule

Pay Range: $31.00 – $40.00/hour (based on experience)
Shift Premium: 10% for 2nd shift
Overtime: Available and encouraged

Benefits:

  • 90% employer-paid medical insurance (including family plans)
  • Vision, dental, life, and short-term disability
  • 401(k) with up to 4% company match (vests in 90 days)
  • 2–3 weeks vacation (negotiable), 9 paid holidays
  • Relocation assistance up to $5,000 for qualified candidates
