Total Reg Hours: 20.00/Week
The role is part time, 4 hours/5 days/week. Hours can be flexible.

Overview
WELCOME TO THE TEAMIn the Coatings division, we develop, produce, and market a wide range of coating solutions, from applied surface technologies to automotive coatings. We work in global teams focused on innovation, performance, and practical solutions for our customers.At the Greenville site, IT plays a direct role in supporting safe and reliable manufacturing operations. This role focuses on hands-on support, user enablement, and stable IT operations across the site.
TASKS
Site IT Support (Primary Contact):Act as the first point of contact for all IT incidents and service requests at the Greenville site.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, access, and connectivity.Manage and prioritize IT tickets based on business and production impact.Coordinate escalation with regional or global IT teams when required.
User Access & Onboarding:Support new user onboarding including device setup, account creation, and system access.Manage access requests across SAP, MES, shared drives, and business applications.Ensure timely offboarding including access removal and asset collection.
Printer & Device Ownership:Own all site printers, including office and production/label printers.Manage installation, troubleshooting, and coordination with vendors.Track inventory, consumables, and replacement planning.
Mobility & Shop Floor Technology:Support scanners, tablets, and other mobile or shop floor devices.Perform upgrades, patching, and routine maintenance.Troubleshoot integration issues with MES, SAP, and network connectivity.
Infrastructure & Network Support:Support local IT infrastructure including endpoints, connectivity, and site network components.Maintain basic understanding of network architecture, firewalls, and connectivity.Identify and escalate infrastructure or security issues to central IT teams.
Site Engagement & Continuous Improvement:Work directly with production, maintenance, and operations teams to resolve IT issues.Identify recurring problems and drive corrective actions.Support rollout of new technologies and digital initiatives at the site.Maintain accurate documentation of systems, devices, and configurations.
REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience:Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.1-3 years of experience in IT support or infrastructure, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills:Experience with end-user support and ticket management.Familiarity with printers, scanners, mobile devices, and hardware support.Basic understanding of networking concepts and IT security.Exposure to SAP, MES (e.g., Vegam), or similar enterprise systems is preferred.
Soft Skills:Strong problem-solving skills with a structured approach.Clear communication with both technical and non-technical users.Ability to work independently in a site-based role.Customer-focused mindset with high responsiveness.
SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE (FIRST 6 MONTHS)Reliable IT support with fast response and resolution times.Stable operation of printers and shop floor devices.Efficient onboarding process for new employees.Reduction in recurring IT issues through root cause resolution.Positive feedback from site users and operations teams.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONYou will work closely with local site leadership and global IT teams. This role requires strong on-site presence and engagement with plant operations.
