Job description

AGRILAND FS is looking for a motivated, dependable, and mechanically inclined Custom Seeding Applicator. As a member of our AGRILAND FS team, this individual will receive in-house paid CDL and equipment training, work independently and with a team. Work assignments vary throughout the week and the season.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Apply cover crop seeding to fields according to recommended rates and procedures
  • Record application data according to regulations and AGRILAND FS, Inc. standards
  • Set up material handling, blending, storage, transport and application equipment for accurate and efficient blending, delivery and application of products
  • Maintain all equipment, including a wide variety of light and heavy equipment together with transport equipment to provide the proper image and extend the life of equipment
  • Stay current on technical information
  • Assist with any operational and customer service needs at assigned location

What we need from you:

  • Strong work ethic, self-starting skills, and teamwork skills
  • Some mechanical aptitude and enjoy learning about equipment operation and maintenance
  • Able to lift up to 75 pounds and stand, sit, crawl, climb, and reach difficult areas as job demands
  • Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license
