Description
The Automation Application Engineer provides full-line solutions that complement MULTIVAC's packaging capabilities to meet customer automation needs. This role works closely with Sales, Package Application Engineers, Engineering, and third-party suppliers to develop line solutions from concept to fully quotable proposals.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and develop the optimal MULTIVAC line solution
  • Process assigned Requests for Quotation (RFQs), consulting with colleagues across engineering, project management, procurement, and the international parent company
  • Ensure the technical efficacy of proposed solutions, assisting with order clarification and addressing follow-up technical concerns
  • Develop line layout drawings to support customer proposals, trade show booth designs, and other sales-related initiatives

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field
  • Strong technical background and expertise in creating equipment application sales proposals, with the ability to discuss complex technical requirements
  • CRM and SAP experience preferred
