Job description

We are seeking a hands-on Application Support Specialist to assist with integrations, data flows, and day-to-day system operations across our core business applications. This role focuses on monitoring and maintaining existing integrations, supporting data, and assisting with basic system administration tasks.
This is an early-career to mid-level role best suited for someone with foundational experience in SQL, integrations, and applications who is looking to grow their skills in integrations and platform support.
Responsibilities
Integration Support & Maintenance
  • Build, monitor, support, and troubleshoot system integrations
  • Assist with data exchanges between CRM, claims platform, and enterprise data warehouse.
  • Support STFP and API-based integrations (REST), including issue triage and basic troubleshooting.
    • Implement routine fixes, minor enhancements, and support performance improvements under guidance.
  • Support data ingestion and validation processes within the software application or data transfer.
  • Create custom reports or write SQL queries (joins, filters, basic CTEs) to validate data and troubleshoot issues.
  • Assist in maintaining data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems.

System Administration Support
  • Assist with administration of platforms such as Origami, Guidewire, IMS Vertafore or related systems.
  • Manage user access requests, including account setup, roles, and permissions.
  • Support basic configuration updates and data maintenance activities.
  • Help monitor system health and escalate platform issues to senior team members.

Operations & Documentation
  • Monitor scheduled integrations, jobs, and data pipelines; respond to errors and alerts.
  • Perform initial root-cause analysis and escalate more complex issues as needed.
  • Maintain and update documentation including data definitions, manuals, and workflows.

Collaboration
  • Partner with business users and IT team to support operational needs and resolve issues.
  • Contribute ideas for incremental improvements to data quality, reporting, and integration reliability.

Qualifications
Required
  • 2-4 years of experience in integration or application support.
  • Working knowledge of SQL (joins, filtering, basic transformations).
  • Exposure to integration tools such as Boomi, MuleSoft, Workato, or similar (hands-on or support experience).
  • Exposure to and experience in configuring and managing a Policy Administration System.
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills and ability to work independently.

Preferred
  • Basic understanding of APIs (REST, authentication concepts).
  • Experience in insurance or regulated industries is a plus.
  • Exposure to data warehouse concepts (ETL/ELT, fact/dimension tables).

Pay Range:
$64,800 - $88,000 Annual
The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for this role.
