This role is more than just coding. As a Software Engineer at Booz Allen, you'll use your passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You'll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You'll help make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

On this team, you will work with a highly collaborative, fast-paced software development team in the Cybersecurity domain. Perform complex analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of Web application software and components supporting an enterprise user base. Leverage technical expertise in software architecture, system administration, networking, Cloud hosting, and configuration management. Demonstrate experience with full-stack software and Web application development fundamentals and learn new languages, technologies, and software architecture quickly. Work with a varied team of analysts and developers.

You Have:

• 3+ years of experience working on software development teams in a professional environment

• 3+ years of experience with C#

• 3+ years of experience with web development languages and frameworks, including HTML, JavaScript, and Angular

• 3+ years of experience with version control, including Git

• 3+ years of experience with relational databases, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with scripting languages, including Python

• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science

• DoD 8570 Compliant IAT II Certification, including CISSP or Security+ Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
