Job Title: Platform Engineer & Production Support

Contract Length: 12+ months

Location: Charlotte NC 28202/ Irving, TX/ Minneapolis, MN Hybrid Work- 3 days on site/ 2 days remote

This role focuses heavily on application production engineering, reliability, observability, and operational excellence within cloud-native environments.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on engineer with strong Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, and production support expertise who can operate effectively in fast-paced, production-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead production support efforts across a portfolio of 20+ applications, ensuring stability, performance, and rapid issue resolution
  • Design and build advanced observability, monitoring, and alerting dashboards using Grafana, Splunk, AppDynamics, Prometheus, and related tools
  • Proactively identify risks through gap analysis, anomaly detection, predictive alerting, and intelligent monitoring
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues across distributed microservices environments and reduce MTTR
  • Drive adoption of modern SRE practices including automation, AIOps, and intelligent monitoring solutions
  • Support cloud-native applications running on OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms
  • Collaborate with development teams during release cycles to ensure production readiness and operational support
  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation and respond with urgency during production incidents
  • Mentor engineers and promote best practices across SRE, DevOps, and platform engineering disciplines
  • Operate effectively across multiple responsibilities in high-pressure production environments

  • 10+ years of platform engineering and production support experience
  • 5+ years of experience with:
