Job Description:
  • The Application Production Support role is within the Banking and Production services group, where the successful candidate will be responsible for providing day to day level 2 operational application support for existing as well as new applications that are deployed.
  • Selected individual will be required to monitor application jobs, services, work through resolving application issues, problems and incidents that are related to the application system(s) or reported by business users.
  • Also, support change and release activities.
    Contractor shall abide by company policies and workplace excellence rules.
  • Since this is a production support job that requires 24x7 support to serve our clients, candidate shall be flexible enough to work on weekends/holidays as per the team shift rotations needs.
  • Practical work experience with Unix/Linux systems, file transmission and ability to write SQL queries, perform DB updates and exposure to monitoring scheduling tools such as Autosys, Splunk.
  • Informatica Hadoop systems knowledge to navigate through the systems, verify logs and troubleshoot issues. Ability to provide day to day production application support with in-depth analysis, investigation and troubleshoot issues on banking platforms and associated applications.
  • Participate in incident bridge calls, ensuring all required individuals are on the call and are actively seeking to resolve the issue(s).
  • Document maintain operations procedures. Work closely with technology and business operation teams.
  • Require good verbal written communication skills are required to work with various stakeholders.
