What does a Commercial Operations Specialist do at Canandaigua National Bank?

The Commercial Operations Specialist supports regulatory compliance and operational consistency across the commercial lending department through overseeing regulatory compliance checkpoints (Reg B, HMDA, Flood) and leading key operational workflows including ACR tracking. The role partners closely with Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers, Administrative Assistants, Compliance, and Loan Operations to maintain a consistent, audit ready lending environment. Position can assist Operations manager as needed with procedure writing and other project related duties to enhance operational efficiency.

What competencies are needed to be successful in this role?

  • A B.S. or B.A. degree in a related field normally required; specialized training in commercial banking operations.
  • Five (5) years in a customer service field.
