Our client is seeking a Senior Azure/.NET Application Engineer to help transform one of the most iconic brands in the world into a lean, efficient, and highly automated platform. As a Senior Azure/.NET Application Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in connecting our engineering team organization with our valued store partners. You will help in the modernization of our existing API, and web based services that we provide for our in-store partners as well as the internal partners and business. You will assist in the development, build, deployment, and sustainment of our future and existing platform. This position will also help troubleshoot and support our store partners with operational issues and update/correct/create knowledge base articles and partner with all production support teams.

ยท Be an active participant in all scrum ceremonies and in the delivery of the strategic roadmap. ยท Propose technical solutions. ยท Delivery of well-designed, high-quality, fully functional, properly tested features, fixes, and enhancements. ยท Responsible for the full application development lifecycle and support. ยท Use your strong understanding of Continuous Delivery and Integration frameworks including deployment automation, configuration management, test, and source code/git repositories to help the team deliver ยท Help troubleshoot and support our store partners with operational issues and update/correct/create knowledge base articles. ยท Troubleshooting and debugging to optimize performance. ยท Provide subject matter expertise and direction, guidance, and support on complex engagements.

ยท 7+ years of software engineering ยท 5+ years of Microsoft.NET Core, C#, ASP.NET MVC experience ยท 5+ years of cloud computing, preferably Azure, including Containerization, Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hub, Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, Traffic Manager, and Application Gateway for networks ยท 4+ years of SQL Server including database design, query optimization, and stored procedures ยท 3+ years of API development, including RESTful services and third-party integrations ยท 3+ years of Azure DevOps or other CI/CD tools to manage deployments, Git principals, release planning, branch management, GitHub Actions ยท 2+ years of Azure EntraID formerly Azure Active Directory (AAD) for identity and access management ยท Knowledge of application monitoring tools such as Application Insights, Datadog, Splunk, and New Relic Knowledge of Apigee

Desired Skills & Experience

ยท Hands-on experience with Azure App Services, Blob Storage, Queues, Event Hubs, Key Vault, and Application Insights. ยท Expertise in designing and implementing Azure Service Bus solutions for various messaging scenarios, including point-to-point (queues) and publish-subscribe (topics) patterns. ยท Experience in designing and implementing infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, etc. ยท Experience in automating infrastructure provisioning and deployments using ARM, templates, Terraform, or Bicep. ยท Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
