Job description

Volt is immediately hiring for a remote ServiceNow Developer.
As a ServiceNow Developer you will:
  • Implement and configure ServiceNow modules including ITSM, CSM, ITAM and ITOM.
  • Support Domain Separation architecture design and implementation across multi-tenant environments
  • Develop and maintain Service Portal and Employee Service Center (ESC) Portal solutions
  • Build and configure Virtual Agent workflows and AI Control Tower capabilities
  • Design and develop scoped applications and custom configurations based on client requirements
  • Lead and support Knowledge Management implementations and best practices
  • Configure and support Mobile App features within the ServiceNow platform
  • Architect and implement integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems
  • Support IT Asset Management lifecycle processes including hardware and software asset tracking
  • Maintain and enhance CMDB data integrity, Discovery configuration, and CSDM alignment
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into platform solutions
  • Provide technical guidance, documentation, and knowledge transfer to client teams
  • Participate in testing, quality assurance, and release management activities

This is a full-time, contract opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in deploying projects in multiple product areas: IT Service Management (ITSM), Customer Service Management (CSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM). Any experience with CRM and CPQ would be a plus.
  • 4+ years in a full-time software engineering role on both back-end and front-end web applications, with 4+ years of ServiceNow development experience
  • Should carry current ServiceNow certifications for System Administrator (CSA) and Application Developer (CAD). Micro-Certifications in other areas including Integration Hub, Performance Analytics and Flow Designer highly desirable
  • Understanding of the systems development life cycle and source code control. Basic understanding of networking concepts, such as IPs and ports
  • Understanding of public-private key encryption and application of SSL certificates
  • Understanding of common web application security breach vectors and the respective mitigations

Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience working in a consulting or managed services environment supporting multiple clients
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - ability to lead client-facing workshops and discovery sessions
  • Experience with update set management, instance cloning strategies, and platform governance
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow Performance Analytics or Reporting

Pay Rate: $60 - $67 per hour.
