Job Summary:
DRT Strategies delivers expert management consulting and IT solutions to federal agencies, state and local governments, and commercial clients. The Power BI Application Developer will work with public health analysts and other technologists to design, develop, deploy, and maintain IT solutions, focusing on building and enhancing dashboards and visualizations using Microsoft Power BI.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Designs, configures, customizes, and deploys new features to existing solutions; builds features from customer requirements, managing data flows, and performing routine maintenance, enhancements, and bug fixes.
โ€ข Develops and manages a schedule to meet deliverables and establish estimated completion dates.
โ€ข Follows the governmentโ€™s software development lifecycle framework and provides agreed upon project documentation.
โ€ข Supports requirements elicitation and provide feedback to optimize requirements to align to development best practices; works with business owners and analysts to define workflows and develop user stories.
โ€ข Completes tasks on time with minimal supervision but supports collaboration across teams.
โ€ข Provides performance monitoring and tuning, when needed.
โ€ข Provides user management support.
โ€ข Troubleshoot software issues.

โ€ข This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Public Trust clearance.
โ€ข Due to contract requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents (green card holders) to be eligible.
