Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Apprentice Engineer, you will embark on an intensive training program, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship to develop foundational engineering skills and contribute to real-world projects. This role cultivates your engineering aptitude, integrating theoretical knowledge with practical application under expert guidance.
Every day you will assist senior engineers with design analysis, project planning, and technical documentation, participating in meetings and learning industry-standard software while adhering to safety protocols. Responsibilities include completing tasks efficiently, actively seeking learning opportunities, and documenting progress.
To succeed, you'll need a strong engineering foundation, a proactive approach to learning, excellent communication for collaboration, and a profound commitment to precision, problem-solving, and continuous professional development. Self-motivation and adaptability are essential in navigating new challenges within dynamic engineering projects.
  • Ensures a professional and responsive atmosphere by greeting patients, visitors, staff, and physicians promptly and courteously. Refers to each individual by name when appropriate. Screens individuals by requesting to see identification or visitor pass.
  • Works with minimal supervision
  • Organizes and completes assigned work in a timely manner
  • Addresses duties and interactions with all internal and external customers as committed to Core Values
  • Fosters a cooperative effort in meeting the goals of the team and sharing the workload.

Job Requirements
Required
  • Acceptance into & successful active participation within the I.U.O.E. Stationary Engineers Local 39 Union Engineer Apprenticeship program. and

Preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience with a minimum of 1 year in area of related field
  • Driver's License: CA, upon hire
