Senior Product Analyst – Expanse

Job Summary

CereCore is seeking a Senior Product Analyst to join our local team in Nashville, TN. This role works closely with the HCA Expanse product team and key business partners across the enterprise. This role collaborates with leaders, product owners, analysts, project managers, clinicians, and technical solution providers to support the implementation, optimization, and ongoing operations for MEDITECH Expanse.

This role is accountable for coordinating designated work efforts, escalating issues as needed, and ensuring enterprise standards are consistently applied across divisions and facilities. The Senior Product Analyst plays a critical role in guiding stakeholders through standardized workflows, evaluating current-state practices, and reinforcing governance to support a successful Expanse implementation and long-term operational stability.

The overall goal of this role is to reduce customer impact by proactively identifying issues through monitoring and alerting, communicating status with urgency, and advocating for solutions that improve the end-user experience while maintaining enterprise standards.

As assigned by leadership, this individual will ensure proper configuration, implementation guidance, and integration of products to meet stakeholder needs while adhering to IT security and governance requirements. In some situations, the Senior Product Analyst may act in multiple capacities (e.g., business analyst, project manager, product tester), with a strong emphasis on guidance, oversight, and standardization rather than hands-on build.

General Responsibilities

  • Serves as a senior-level IT resource supporting teams, divisions, and multiple facilities for application implementation, optimization, and support.
  • Works independently with minimal guidance and provides mentorship to junior analysts.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert for assigned, complex clinical and operational applications.
  • Participates in and/or guides division-wide and multi-facility implementation initiatives.
  • Guides and supports application build activities by ensuring adherence to enterprise standards (this role does not primarily perform hands-on configuration).
  • Collaborates with enterprise, division, and facility stakeholders to monitor, facilitate, and drive application testing, implementation, and optimization.
  • Evaluates clinical and operational workflows to determine whether issues stem from system behavior or workflow non-compliance, and provides clear guidance accordingly.
  • Supports incident resolution by partnering with service desk and technical teams, with increased responsibility over junior analysts.
  • Works with division and facility leaders to develop policies, procedures, best practices, and deliver training as needed.
  • Actively promotes enterprise standardization, utilization, integration, and optimization efforts across clinical applications.
  • Assists with process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and consistency.
  • Analyzes application data and reports to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities and develops action plans.
  • Guides application audits based on established policies and procedures.
  • Partners across enterprise and division teams to develop best practices, share expertise, and continuously improve application performance.
  • Assists the manager with oversight of division support and development of business cases for new solutions, as assigned.
  • Promotes system security, patient confidentiality, and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Adheres to the Code of Conduct and Mission & Values.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare application support, product analysis, or clinical systems support.
  • Clinical background or significant experience supporting clinicians (e.g., RN, LPN, clinical systems analyst).
  • Experience supporting or guiding implementations across multiple facilities.
  • Experience guiding standardized implementations or optimization initiatives is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations and clinical workflows, with the ability to evaluate workflow issues versus system functionality.
  • Experience supporting enterprise EHR applications in a standardized, multi-facility environment. Prior experience with MEDITECH Expanse highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with application reporting or data analysis tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to administer standards while maintaining strong, collaborative relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to navigate challenging conversations with clinical and operational stakeholders using empathy, confidence, and sound judgment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated customer orientation balanced with governance and accountability.
  • Supportive leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Must have reliable transportation to assigned work locations.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relevant work experience.
