About Us

Sentry Force Security is a growing security services company providing armed and unarmed security officers throughout Virginia. We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Data Entry & Onboarding Specialist to support our recruiting and HR operations by ensuring new hires are onboarded accurately and efficiently.

Position Summary

The Data Entry & Onboarding Specialist is responsible for entering applicant information into company systems, preparing onboarding documents, maintaining employee records, and ensuring all required documentation is completed before employees begin work. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter applicant and employee information into company databases and tracking systems.
  • Prepare and distribute onboarding paperwork, including employment documents and new hire packets.
  • Monitor completion of onboarding documents and follow up with new hires as needed.
  • Verify required documents, licenses, certifications, and identification.
  • Maintain confidential employee files and electronic records.
  • Schedule orientation and communicate start dates with new hires.
  • Coordinate with recruiters and managers to ensure a smooth hiring process.
  • Update applicant tracking systems and onboarding spreadsheets.
  • Assist with background checks, employment verifications, and other pre-employment requirements.
  • Respond to candidate questions regarding onboarding and employment paperwork.
  • Perform general administrative and data entry duties.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 1 year of administrative, HR, recruiting, or data entry experience.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Excellent typing and data entry accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
