Missile Tracking Systems Engineer Scottsdale, AZ / Huntsville, AL / Chantilly, VA Pay Estimated: $87.87 - $92.87/Hour U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law Missile Tracking System Engineer job is available with Moseley Technical Services Top Space/Defense company. This position can be worked from Huntsville, AL; Scottsdale, AZ; Grand Forks, ND; or Chantilly, VA. In this job you will support the US Space Force Space Development Agency (SDA) Ground, Management and Integration (GMI) program responsible for developing and deploying state-of-the-art ground operational systems for the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA); integration, testing and maintenance of the ground entry points, operations centers, enterprise test and checkout capabilities Responsibilities: * Systems engineering that includes decomposing requirements into architecture, internal and external interfaces, and system design behaviors * Pre-planned or ad-hoc scheduling and situational awareness of satellites and payloads capabilities to track missiles * Analysis and fusion of missile tracking data provided by satellite to the ground for processing and rapidly providing and disseminating the information * Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation Qualifications: * U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law * Active Department of Defense SECRET security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret with Polygraph * Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or STEM and 8+ years of experience, or Master's degree and 6+ years of experience. * Prefer recent designing and developing systems that can solve complex problems using algorithms * Prefer recent algorithm development and tuning for specific mission parameters * Recent experience with missile tracking systems design and architecture, and sensor fusion techniques * Recent experience designing logic, assessing and scheduling satellite services to track missiles Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled Employer What to Expect * Applicants selected for employment will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation, which may include education, criminal, and work history verifications. * Accepted applicants will be eligible for benefits, including medical and supplemental insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
