Apprentice In-Home Service Professional Wanted


Are you good with your hands? Like computers and other technology? Always had an interest in how things work? Do you enjoy interacting with people and delivering great customer service? If so, our company is looking for you. As a professional and motivated apprentice you will learn the skills of an appliance service technician. After successfully completing our training program, you will be assigned a vehicle to run calls solo beginning a strong career as an appliance technician. Extended, industry specific technical training is provided to qualified individuals. The area covered is Monroe and surrounding counties.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous experience working on major appliances or related schooling (HVAC) is a plus but not necessary.

EPA certification a plus

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent customer service skills

Clean driving record and a valid New York driver's license (company vehicle provided)

Formal Appliance Service Training is a plus

Must be willing to submit to a formal background check to include drug test, DMV, and Criminal Background check


Duties and Responsibilities:
Paying close attention to customer service, the In Home Service Professional will learn to evaluate, troubleshoot, repair and test all types and brands of appliances including washing machines, dryers, refrigerators, stoves/ovens and dishwashers.
