Description
Product System Test team is looking for a highly technical and motivated QA/Test Engineer in Telephony/Satellite/Cellular domain with excellent problem solving and communication skills. You will be collaborating on cutting edge technologies with experts and delivering a top quality product that is proven in lab simulations and over the air campaigns that you would have designed and executed hands on. Your focus will be to ensure highest level of product quality and that connectivity features are ready for Apple’s innovative products serving millions of customers.","responsibilities":"Experience in developing cellular / telephony / Satellite test plans.
Independently develop test suites, scripts and automate campaigns.
Support cross functional teams in debugging and reproducing issues.
In depth knowledge of analyzing triaging logs and proposing solutions.

Laser-focused on the smallest details that are important to our customers
Proficiency in Python and/or C/C++. Previous automation experience required
Independently develop test suites, scripts and automate campaigns.
Knowledge using and understanding of lab equipment: cellular simulators, signal analyzer, signal generator, spectrum analyzer, sniffer tools etc
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of experience in Telephony/Cellular/Satellite Functional or Performance Testing
Experience in developing test strategies and executing it with automation or manual testing
Solid understanding of existing cellular specifications and protocols
Support development in debugging and reproducing issues
Can clearly communicate and driving multiple projects across many teams
Obsessively passionate and inquisitive
Laser-focused on the smallest details that are meaningful to our customers
Thrive in a collaborative environment and comfortable working with cross-functional teams
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $142,300 and $214,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
