About our client We are working with an investment firm based in Qatar that manages a globally diversified portfolio across public and private markets. The organization is seeking a VP/Principal to join their MENA private equity team.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a VP/Principal within the MENA private equity programme, supporting the design and implementation of the firmโ€™s global private markets strategy
  • Evaluate and underwrite private equity direct and co-investment opportunities
  • Contribute to portfolio construction, asset allocation and ongoing rebalancing across private markets
  • Monitor portfolio performance, risk and exposures, producing materials for internal governance and investment committees
  • Prepare and present investment recommendations to senior decisionโ€‘makers within a structured IC framework
  • Play an active role in building investment processes, frameworks and governance as the platform continues to scale
Qualifications
  • Experience in MENA private equity investments is required, gained ideally within a private equity investment team, or potentially within an investment bank
  • Entrepreneurial and handsโ€‘on
  • Internationally minded, adaptable and able to work effectively in a culturally diverse environment
  • Excellent knowledge of the MENA market
