Job description

MMR Constructors, Inc. is accepting resumes for Industrial Electrical Foremen for a project in Abilene, Texas.

Responsible for supervision, resource coordination, safety, quality, and timekeeping, as well as layout, installation, and repair of electrical / instrument wiring, devices, supports, equipment, etc.

Job Duration: 5 months

Job Schedule: Monday - Saturday (6/10's)

Rate: $40.00/hour

Per diem: $125/day (must meet mileage requirements)

Duties and responsibilities of Industrial Electrical Foreman (including but not limited to):

  • Training of employees
  • Planning, assigning, and directing work
  • Timely submittal of time sheets, material requisitions, tracking reports and all required HSE documentation
  • Interpret blueprints and follow manufacturers’ specifications
  • Participate in the construction installation, modification, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and components (lighting, wiring, transformers, outlets, circuit breakers, etc.)
  • Study wiring diagrams and manuals to determine correct installation and quality
  • Clerical/administrative duties related to task or project documentation
  • Attend safety training as directed
  • Must comply with all safety and company rules and regulations
  • Employee must be able to travel to and from the jobsite via personal vehicle or other public form of transportation
