As a member of our Worldwide Product Marketing group, you’ll represent customers and developers throughout the entire lifecycle from concept through development and launch of our core AI technologies and features. You’ll develop and apply insights to help infuse innovative features into our development process. Together with your partner teams, you’ll work to build foundational technologies and infrastructure to power products and features that excite the world.
At Apple, we combine product management and product marketing responsibilities into a single, cross-functional Product Management role that collaborates with design, engineering, finance, legal, marketing communications, public relations, market research, sales, and support for maximum impact across the organization.
Description
We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Product Manager to help define the strategy and shape of Apple Foundation Models, research, and infrastructure that power Apple Intelligence, Siri, and our developer ecosystem AI features.
This role requires an excellent understanding of AI, models, and industry trends. You are comfortable with complex and ambiguous problems and situations, adept at identifying a project’s risks, and hold a commitment to excellence in your work. You love using your creative and critical thinking to craft solutions for resolving them quickly. Working with multiple internal and external partners, you are adept at quickly gaining their respect and support, and consistently demonstrate extraordinary marketing expertise, attention to detail, objectivity, and accountability.
","responsibilities":"Help drive the strategy, definition, and launch for Apple Foundation Model enhancements, core AI technologies, and experiences across Apple’s operating systems and products, as well as create incredible opportunities for developers and researchers to build on these technologies
Think strategically about how model choices translate into and enhance everyday user workflows
Play an instrumental role on the AIML product marketing team by collaborating with engineering and design to investigate new concepts and ideas and being the voice of the market to Apple during the development phase
Craft product messaging briefs, guide marketing communications on the creation of launch materials, and act as a spokesperson in press briefings and public events
Together with partner teams, deliver products that leverage the latest innovations in AI to enrich people’s lives
Preferred Qualifications
Deep understanding and passion for the AI landscape, models, training, and product experiences
Proven record working collaboratively with engineering, design, and marketing peers
Technical track record working closely with engineering and research teams
Strong ability to lead through influence, debate, and technical credibility, focusing on what's best for users, developers, and the entire technology stack
High aptitude for uncovering insights through data exploration and analysis
Ability to synthesize technologies into product communication for a broad audience including customers, media, analysts, and leading industry specialists
Best-in-class storytelling, presentation, and written communication skills
Press and media experience with success as a product spokesperson on a national or global level
Strong attention to detail
Willingness to travel
A dedicated self-starter who demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities
Bachelor’s degree; MS/MBA preferred
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years of experience, including having led multiple AI-focused product development cycles from concept to launch
Hands-on experience formulating product messaging and creating outbound marketing for both technical and consumer audiences, and/or partnering with engineering and design during early research and development to define product strategy and roadmap
Recent experience within the last 3 years in one or more of the following software segments: operating systems, AI, consumer apps, or adjacent
Deep collaboration skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams across a wide range of focus areas
Ability to drive communication with key stakeholders, the media, and the public, as demonstrated by exceptional presentation skills: developing keynote addresses in an area of subject matter expertise, synthesizing information, applying critical thinking, and maintaining composure under pressure
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,500 and $311,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
