Job description

Kent Quality Foods, Inc . a premier manufacturer of specialty meat products is seeking candidates for the position of Quality Assurance Technician at our Grand Rapids location. This position will be responsible for monitoring our process and making sure it is in compliance with USDA and company guidelines.
Required skills
  • Knowledge of food processing and food safety
  • Able to operate independently - self motivated
  • Strong personality, not afraid of conflict
  • Capable of communicating effectively
  • Need to be able to stop production in case the need arises
  • Need to have knowledge of GMP, HACCP
  • Need to have an inspector mind set

Employee must be trained in and fully conscious of food safety. This job requires a pro-active person with a strong work ethic who can be depended upon to work independently.
