We are currently seeking a qualified individual for our Part-Time QA Lab Tech position, to join our Nottingham, PA team! 
  • SCHEDULE: Monday-Thursday
  • SHIFT: 8am-3:30pm
    • Additional hours may be required due to business demands.
WHAT YOU NEED TO GET STARTED:
  • Must complete a background check and pre-employment drug screen, as well as a preplacement screening which tests the ability to perform the physical requirements of the position. 
COMPETENCIES YOU BRING:
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds. 
  • Must be able to work with latex gloves, airborne seasoning, cardboard dust, cleaning solutions, and hot water.
  • Must be able to work in a noisy and fast-paced environment.
QUALIFICATIONS YOU BRING:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Good balance on slippery surfaces.
  • Sustain concentration for up to 3 hours at a time.

This position is part-time benefit eligible. Key Responsibilities
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct hourly lab tests on the finished product packages weight 
  • Perform Statistical averaging of test results. 
  • Communicate test results to the shift supervisor and other key personnel. 
  • Operate x-ray machines to inspect and test products as required. 
  • Sample product and report the report the results in timely manner. 
  • Compile product, package, and ingredient data as required. 
  • Perform visual quality checks and locate products in the warehouse, production, and storage environment. 
  • Ability to learn the testing processes and proper operating procedures for quality assurance lab equipment. 
  • Communicate issues and information between shifts as required 
  • Abide by all safe quality foods (SQF policies) 
  • Ability to stand on production floor 3 hours at a time 
  • Ensure that manufacturing data is accurately entered and tracked in the ERP system, including production orders, materials, and finished goods.
  • Update and maintain ERP records to reflect real-time data, including production status, material usage, and equipment maintenance.
  • Enter production and manufacturing data into the ERP system, including raw material consumption, machine usage, labor hours, and quality control data.
  • Track inventory levels in real-time and coordinate with the necessary teams to ensure timely material replenishment.
  • Other ERP responsibilities as assigned
Sanitation/Safety
  • Clean and sanitize work areas and food processing equipment, walls, floors etc. with the use of chemicals.
  • Must always wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when performing job duties.
  • Must follow all rules set by the Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP) and Safe Quality Foods (SQF) and attend all related meetings and/or training sessions.
