Title: Supply Chain manager/ Fulfillment Manager
Client: Apple, Cupertino, 5 days onsite , locals only
NOTES NOT FOR POSTING:
Someone who can build a supply chain model. Excel is single most important thing; dont need tableau or sap; no need for certs; open to level of exp; can't afford someone very senior; 1-3yrs min anything more than is a bonus; apple exp is a plus but; not necessary; this role is for NPI they are knee deep in it but then they will have a big gap will be training the first 3-4 mos will be getting to know people and the ways of apple, need to be expert on Mac, pivot tables v lookup that covers 90% of the job in excel usage,
interview process: 3 stages, 2nd interview w other members of the team 4-5 panel interview 30 min each 3rd part will be a case study onsite in Cupertino, should be able to complete in 30 min, give a sample list of countries and build a supply chain model. candidates they have looked at were to heavy in project mgmt, what they found great communicators but didn't understand supply chain, asked them to prepare deliverables and didn't understand, interviewed someone who had a great supply chain but no communication, needs to be able to start asap ideally like to speak w 3 candidates, availability for interviews Tues and wed late in the day, Friday blocked out will make time. Title is not as important more interested in people skills and supply chain exp.
Title: Supply Chain manager/ Fulfillment Manager
Primary job duties:
  • Coordinate with Apple Marcom team to prepare for printed graphic (2D) deployment in support of NPI activities
  • Work with members of NPI planning team to establish time-delivery model (TDM) for printed graphics to support on-time NPI execution
  • Coordinate with print vendors in key markets to ensure adherence to TDM, potentially across multiple NPI activities.
  • Coordinate with Apple Print Production Managers (PPMs) to find opportunities for supply chain optimization
  • Where necessary, work with Apple Logistics teams to leverage pre-announce shipments of 2D
  • Manage 2D spend through issuance of purchase orders and reconciliation of invoices against purchase orders
