The Apple Pay team is seeking a product manager who loves building products that are both innovative and easy to use. This role focuses on the end-to-end provisioning experience, developing new identification and verification features, and combating fraud.This role will be responsible for defining, building, and launching ground-breaking new features that protect users while reducing friction. You will guide teams leading complex, cross-functional projects and drive progress by diving into technical details when needed while also thinking through the end-to-end experience - from a user tapping "Add Card" to an issuer's risk decision in milliseconds. We are looking for a motivated candidate who wants to build great customer experiences and invent the future of identity and fraud prevention.
5+ years of Product Management experience building and launching consumer products with designers, engineers, and data scientistsDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives spanning engineering, design, marketing, and legalTechnical foundation, with the ability to engage with engineering teams and understand system-level tradeoffsExpertise with payment and identity technology end to end, including card provisioning, identification and verification (ID&V), tokenization, device and behavioral signals, fraud detection, dispute and chargeback flowsFluency with payment ecosystem players' roles and strategies (Networks, Issuers, token service providers)Ability to synthesize complex topics, drive alignment, and communicate effectively with senior leadership
Proven ability to impact provisioning and fraud business metrics, such as provisioning approval and step-up rates, fraud rate, and account takeoverWorking knowledge of how machine learning is applied to risk decisioning - including signal design, model evaluation, and the tradeoffs between precision, recall, and user frictionFamiliarity with the regulatory environment shaping authentication and provisioning (e.g., 3-D Secure, SCA, evolving identity standards)Track record of operational excellence - defining processes, managing program execution, and delivering results with consistency and rigorExperience working across multiple product areas within a platform or ecosystemMBA or advanced degree a plus
