The SWE Factory EPM team is looking for an engineering program manager with strong OS fundamentals, excellent communication skills, and a desire to work with an amazing team. This is a highly cross functional role and will involve working with our Hardware, Software and Operations teams to track and manage the delivery of Software to the factory lines for the iPhone, iPad, Mac, WATCH, Apple TV and Vision Pro product lines. A great opportunity for a program manager who is also very interested in technology and wants to help drive and deliver high quality software to the factories.
Description
You will drive the software deliverables to the factories during various hardware builds starting with development phase to mass production. Drive technical discussions with engineering teams to identify solutions for software that impact hardware. Provide timely communications to factories about future release schedules and coordinate control run to ensure smooth roll out. Identify and highlight risks, work on mitigations and drive for alignment with all stakeholders across Software and Hardware orgs. Communicate and present the plan in various forms to leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to drive multiple programs, prioritize and solve complex problems
Ability to quickly establish and manage cross-functional relationships
Demonstrated creative and critical thinking
Self-motivated and pro-active with demonstrated creative and critical thinking
Experience in consumer electronics factory line
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years experience in managing complex and multi-functional software projects
Knowledge of Software and Hardware product lifecycle
Exceptional verbal and written communication as well as presentation skills
BS/MS EE/CS/CE or relevant experience
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
