Job description

The Display Hardware team is looking for a talented Electrical Engineer to join the development of next generation displays for Mac products.
Description
You will be working in a dynamic and collaborative environment that fosters creativity and innovation. Analyze and evaluate design feasibility to meet various requirements, including optics, signal integrity/power integrity, mechanical/thermal constraints and system coexistence
Participate in cross-functional design reviews and contribute to the overall system design
Communicate and present technology updates and project status to cross-functional teams
Perform failure analysis on electrical, mechanical, and optical issues
Support prototype builds and conduct debugging and failure analysis for issues in manufacture
Preferred Qualifications
Self driven and highly motivated with passion for crafting and innovating, attention to details, strong problem-solving skills
Hands-on maker demonstrated through hardware projects, passion for bringing ideas to life
Need to be comfortable working in fast paced and highly collaborative work environment
Proficiency in EE validation/characterization tasks, and familiar with lab equipment and test automation
Develop factory test plan and manage manufacturer partner to conduct data collection, and analyze large-scale data
Ability to communicate and present technology updates and project status to executives and functional teams
Consumer electronics and high-volume production experience
Modern display technologies, such as LCD, TFT, OLED, LED etc.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum requirement of a bachelors degree
Experience in mixed-signal EE design at either IC or PCB level
Experience in circuit/math analysis and modeling, with proficiency in simulation tools like SPICE or MATLAB.
Experience with design and analysis in one of these areas: power electronics, analog/digital circuits, or high-speed signal integrity
Hands-on experience in hardware prototype bring-up, debugging, validation and failure analysis
Experience with full ECAD workflow for schematic capture, PCB layout, BOM generation
Skills in scripting, factory data processing, or test automation, and programming experience in Python, Shell script, MATLAB or similar
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $120,300 and $210,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
