Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Web Content Developer to lead the design, development, modernization, and maintenance of enterprise web applications supporting a federal government customer. This individual will serve as the technical lead responsible for website architecture, infrastructure, performance optimization, security, accessibility, and full-stack development while overseeing technical teams and ensuring successful project execution using Agile and SAFe methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise Drupal-based web applications.
  • Serve as the technical lead for all web development activities, ensuring high availability, scalability, security, and performance.
  • Design and implement full-stack solutions using Drupal and .NET technologies.
  • Integrate Drupal applications with Appian, SharePoint, and IBM DB2 databases.
  • Manage website architecture, infrastructure, hosting, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
  • Ensure compliance with Section 508 Accessibility Standards for both Internet and Intranet applications.
  • Lead Agile development teams and participate in SAFe planning, sprint execution, backlog grooming, and technical reviews.
  • Establish development standards, DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and code review processes.
  • Collaborate with project managers, business stakeholders, UX designers, and infrastructure teams.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and oversight to development staff.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement long-term technical solutions.
  • Ensure security best practices are incorporated throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualification: 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of overall federal-sector IT experience.
  • 10+ years of hands-on .NET development experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Drupal full-stack development experience.
  • Experience leading enterprise web development teams as a Technical Lead or Solution Architect.
  • Experience integrating Drupal with Appian, SharePoint, and IBM DB2.
  • Strong experience with website architecture, infrastructure, scalability, and performance optimization.
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD, and secure software development practices.
  • Working knowledge of Agile, Lean, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Experience ensuring Section 508 accessibility compliance.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
