THE ROLE

Insomniac is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Apparel Product Line Sr. Merchandising Manager. This position willbuild and help drive the end-to-end strategy, design briefing, and commercialization of seasonal apparel collections, collaborating with design, development to deliver consumer-right products. They analyze market trends, manage product lifecycles, and align with financial goals to create, drive, and execute successful product lines.. This is not a remote position and will require travel to be present in-office at the Henderson, NV location 3-4 days per week, and various event/office/warehouse locations as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Must have experience building schedules, always keeping design and development on track.

  • Product Strategy & Creation:Create consumer-right product briefs, build line plans, and guide the product creation process from initial concept to final sample approval.

  • Marketplace Analysis:Analyze competitors, consumer trends, and business metrics (bookings, sell-through) to make informed, strategic decisions.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership:Partner with design, development, materials and marketing to ensure timely delivery and innovative apparel creation.

  • Systems Management:Maintain accuracy in data systems, including Visual Line Plans (VLPs) and product creation tools.

  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Support:Partner with merchandising on product sell-in, ensuring that the product vision is effectively communicated to sales teams and partners.

  • Recruit, hire and onboard various team members and vendors

  • Special projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6-8 years+ experience in apparel product line management and product design/merchandising

  • Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Fashion, or a related field.

  • Strong experience in apparel merchandising, product management, or retail buying.

  • Deep understanding of retail math, financial metrics, and consumer trends.

  • Must have extensive knowledge of raw materials and garment construction

  • Extensive experience working and communicating with domestic and international manufacturers

  • Proven ability to provide leadership, supervision and direction to peers through development process

  • Ability to demonstrate capabilities through a costing exercise

  • Familiarity leading a team and working with a PLM system

  • Proficient in Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written and must be able to actively and attentively listen

  • Must be able to travel 30% of time

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments

  • May work in drastic temperature climates

  • Must be willing travel to work events during evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines
