We are seeking a hardworking and passionate individual to join the App Store Business Operations team. You will lead opportunities to optimize global business operations of the App Store and Apple Arcade for iOS, Mac, iMessage, Apple TV, and Apple Watch and support the development and roll-out of innovative processes and technology solutions that will increase efficiencies and scale the business.
Description
In this role, you will:
Work with cross-functional global teams and senior management to lead the development of business process and technology roadmaps that align with long term divisional strategies.
Analyze current state operations and propose workflows and tool solutions that drive improvements to the organization WW or for addressing country-specific needs.
Lead the deployment and implementation of Airtable and other workflow solutions for App Store and Apple Arcade business teams.
Partner with key decision makers across business teams to identify and define short term and long term solutions to operational challenges.
Document business requirements for process improvements/ technology solutions and prioritize these in alignment with strategic business goals.
Work with internal engineering teams, and external vendors as needed, to support the build and implementation of tools that promote the growth of the business; you will track risks/issues with development, ensure business requirements are met and advocate for future enhancements.
Develop and document process flows and related tool guidance for new business processes resulting from business initiatives.
Support leadership in implementing new ideas effectively within the Apple culture and managing changes to maximize the partner adoption of new tools or processes.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of relevant experience in management consulting or at a high-growth technology firm; Digital Media industry experience preferred
Experience working on a global scale across all levels of the organization and managing the implementation of complex projects
Ability to synthesize large amount of information and data to create a clear story digestible to different types of audience - business, engineering, executives etc
Excellent business sense, project management skills, relationship management skills, and the ability to understand and resolve complex business issues
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and presentation skills
Have an enthusiastic outlook to problem solving and willingness to adapt in a highly demanding, collaborative and fast-paced environment with rapidly changing direction and new challenges
Knowledge of the iOS, macOS and App Store ecosystem a plus
Undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Operations, Business or related field preferred; Advanced degree a plus / or equivalent experience
Minimum Qualifications
8 years of experience in business operations, product management and/ or digital transformation projects
4 years of experience developing content management, CRM or workflow management solutions for global processes/ organizations (e.g. Airtable)
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $186,300 and $280,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
