Job description

APP- Warm Hearth Family Medicine - Part Time

Part‑time APP (NP or PA) opportunity with Carilion Family Medicine at Warm Hearth in Blacksburg. Team approach with autonomous practice with off‑site physician oversight. Variable hours Monday‑Friday 8‑5. A minimum of 3 years of experience is required.

Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of practice.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current state Licensed Nurse Practitioner (LNP), DEA license, RN licensure required. AHA BLS‑HCP certification required. Advanced Life Support preferred.
  • Eligible for prescriptive authority in accordance with state regulations and as authorized by the Virginia Boards of Nursing and Medicine.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other health‑care providers.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Computer literacy for electronic medical records.
Compensation

Base pay ranges from $107,993.60 to $172,785.60. Compensation is based on qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The range does not include benefits or pension plan.
