Position Description:
The Senior ServiceNow Developer will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing high-quality solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This role requires deep technical expertise in ServiceNow development, strong understanding of platform architecture, and hands-on experience working with modules such as ITSM, ITOM Visibility, CMDB, Hardware Asset Management (HAM), and GRC/IRM. The ideal candidate will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to transform business requirements into robust, scalable, and secure ServiceNow applications.
**This position is located in Tysons Corner, VA. Candidates must be willing to work on-site in Tysons Corner, VA 2-3 days a week**
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Platform Development & Configuration
. Design, develop, and implement custom applications, workflows, UI policies, business rules, client scripts, and integrations on the ServiceNow platform.
. Configure and customize core modules including ITSM, ITOM Visibility, CMDB, HAM, and GRC/IRM.
. Build and maintain data models, transform maps, and discovery patterns to ensure accurate and reliable CMDB and service mapping.
. Develop automation strategies using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, scheduled jobs, and orchestration capabilities.
Solution Architecture & Best Practices
. Evaluate business requirements and translate them into high-quality technical solutions aligned with industry and platform best practices.
. Ensure platform scalability, maintainability, and adherence to governance standards.
. Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards across the ServiceNow ecosystem.
Integrations & API Development
. Design and implement APIs/integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, MID Servers, and IntegrationHub spokes.
. Troubleshoot integration issues, optimize performance, and ensure secure data exchange.
CMDB & ITOM Expertise
. Enhance CMDB data quality using discovery, service mapping, and reconciliation rules.
. Configure ITOM Visibility components including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management (optional if applicable).
. Work with stakeholders to maintain CMDB governance, lifecycle management, and audit readiness.
GRC/IRM & HAM Support
. Implement and customize GRC/IRM modules such as policy & compliance, risk management, and audit management.
. Configure Hardware Asset Management (HAM) lifecycles, normalization, reconciliation, and asset workflows.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
. Work closely with product owners, process owners, architects, and business teams to refine requirements and deliver impactful solutions.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
. 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Jelly, AngularJS, UI Builder, and Flow Designer.
. Experience with at least 3-4 major modules, including ITSM, ITOM Visibility, CMDB, HAM, and GRC/IRM or CAM.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 - $176,300.00.
