Job description

Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for a Systems Engineer in support of Special Operations Forces Acquisition, Technology and Logistics' (SOF AT&L) Program Executive Office for Tactical Information Systems (PEO-TIS). PEO-TIS provides SOF with advanced, mission-ready capabilities as technical experts in ISR, tactical communications, and specialized collection and exploitation systems. Across its portfolio, PEO-TIS integrates and fields resilient sensors, biometrics, and forensic exploitation tools, remote and space-enabled capabilities, and secure communications that improve situational awareness, targeting, and over-the-horizon connectivity. The organization drives testing, training, and operational assessments to rapidly transition proven technologies into deployable capabilities that support SOF operations in contested environments. This is a full-time opportunity located at MacDill AFB, FL Responsibilities * Coordinate with Operational Test Agencies and test range facilities to lead/synchronize internal and external OT&E activities * Coordinate with Program Managers on OT&E schedules, priorities, and resources * Develop/Review Technical Briefings, Test Plans, Test Reports, and other technical documents in support of OT&E and F&DR activities * Manage Test Process in support of OT&E and F&DR activities * Collaborate with various engineering disciplines to develop well-defined Measures of Performance (MOP) for Effectiveness, Suitability, Survivability in support of OT&E * Support the program office personnel with developing and updating the Requirements Traceability Matrices and the Evaluation Frameworks documentation * Oversee, develop, coordinate, and/or manage the Spectrum Management process for the Program Office to ensure compliance with regulations * Review, learn, master, synchronize, and comply with all USSOCOM policies around OT&E activities * Assist the program office with developing the Fielding and Deployment Release (F&DR) staffing packages and maintain a real-time status of all pending F&DR actions. Qualifications Minimum Experience: Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS w/SCI eligibility
Certifications:
Education: BS in a technical field of study (Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, or other technical degrees) from an accredited college or university Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 0 years of cumulative experience in a Test Engineer, Test Manager, Systems Engineer, or relevant technical role in support of DoD Acquisition programs, including: * 7+ years of DoD experience in any of the following areas: * Military Systems
* Communication Systems
* Sensor Systems
* Knowledge of Developmental Test and Evaluation (DT&E) practices, principles, and techniques * Knowledge of DoD Operational Test & Evaluation(OT&E) processes, policies, and directives * Knowledge of system, technology maturity, system design trades, production, manufacturing, operations, and sustainment concepts. Preferred Qualifications: Education: Master's degree in a technical field of study (Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, or other technical degrees) from an accredited college or university Years of Experience: Minimum of 8 years of cumulative experience in a Test Engineer, Test Manager, Systems Engineer, or relevant technical role in support of DoD Acquisition programs Additional Information Location: MacDill AFB, FL
