Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a dependable and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining the overall physical condition of the apartment community to ensure safe, clean, and attractive living environments for residents. The ideal candidate will have experience in plumbing, electrical, and general repairs, and will be committed to delivering high-quality maintenance services in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks in apartments and common areas, including:

  • Plumbing (e.g., fixing leaks, unclogging drains)

  • Dry wall patch and painting

  • Carpentry (e.g., door repairs, cabinetry fixes)

  • Appliance installs and repair and replacement

  • Prepare vacant apartments for new residents (turnovers/make-readies)

  • Complete resident service requests/work orders promptly and professionally

  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

  • Assist with groundskeeping duties as needed (e.g., trash pickup, snow removal)

  • Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and regulations

  • Communicate effectively with residents, coworkers, and property management

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of maintenance experience in residential, commercial, or multifamily housing required
