Apartment Make Ready Technician – Tifton, GA

Certified Apartment Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Make Ready Technician for a multifamily apartment community in Tifton, GA 31794. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in preparing apartment homes for new residents and helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming community.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare vacant apartment homes for new resident move-ins.
  • Complete punch list items and ensure apartments meet company quality standards.
  • Perform minor plumbing repairs, including replacing faucets, repairing leaks, and unclogging drains.
  • Complete basic electrical repairs such as replacing light fixtures, switches, outlets, and bulbs.
  • Repair drywall, patch holes, texture, and paint walls as needed.
  • Install or repair doors, locks, blinds, shelving, and other apartment fixtures.
  • Replace flooring, baseboards, caulking, and perform general finish work.
  • Assist with appliance installation and minor appliance repairs.
  • Perform general maintenance work orders as assigned.
  • Help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the community, including common areas.
  • Report maintenance concerns and safety hazards to the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Previous apartment make ready or maintenance experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and carpentry repairs.
  • Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • EPA Certification is a plus but not required.

Preferred Experience:

  • Multifamily apartment maintenance experience.
  • Experience completing apartment turns from move-out to move-in.
  • Ability to complete work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
