Job description

RoleOverview

As a Preventative ServiceRepresentative, you will proactively engage with both existing and newcustomers to promote Inspection, Test, and Monitoring services, generate salesopportunities, and provide tailored security consultations. You will handleinbound inquiries, follow up on marketing leads, and collaborate closely withthe inspections team to quote and sell repair services. Your role includesmanaging customer billing concerns by offering fee abatements linked to newservice agreements, driving contract renewals, qualifying leads, andnegotiating terms to close deals over the phone.

KeyResponsibilities

  • Proactively reach out to existing customers to promote Inspection, Test, and Monitoring services.
  • Call newly acquired customers to generate opportunities for upgrades and cross-selling.
  • Respond to inbound inquiries and follow up on leads generated from marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct phone-based consultations to assess customer security needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Present and demonstrate security solutions remotely, tailoring offerings to customer needs.
  • Handle customer complaints related to service call billing and offer fee abatements in exchange for new repair service agreements.
  • Work with the inspections team to quote and sell deficiency repairs based on inspection reports.
  • Drive re-contracting and renewal efforts for customers impacted by new acquisitions.
  • Qualify and nurture leads to build a strong sales pipeline.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and service agreements to close deals over the phone.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals through consistent outreach and follow-up.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Work closely with marketing and field teams to optimize sales strategies.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and security innovations.
  • Participate in ongoing sales training and professional development to refine sales techniques.

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Prefer experienced outside Security Sales Rep experience but will train the right person if they possess sales skills
  • Industry experience preferred
  • Alarm Sales: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Driver's License (Required)

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
