Job description

DEPARTMENT: Social Ministries, Anti-Human Trafficking
REPORTS TO: Anti-Human Trafficking Crisis Team Coordinator/AHT Program Manager
SUPERVISES: None.
STATUS: Non-Exempt. Temporary
SCHEDULE: Must be available to be on-call for human trafficking emergencies as scheduled.
FUNCTION:
This position is responsible for responding to hotline and crisis response requests as a part of a 24 hour emergency on call schedule.


• Associate’s Degree in social service field. Some coursework in social work or a related field preferred.
• Experience working with victims of human trafficking is preferred. Experience working with victims of other traumatic crimes, such as domestic violence or sexual assault is required.
• Successfully obtain and maintain driving privileges per The Salvation Army insurance standards, including maintaining access to a personal vehicle and insurance coverage for transportation needs related to this position. Mileage reimbursement will be utilized where appropriate.
• Willingness to uphold and support The Salvation Army’s mission and ministry.
