Job description

Full Time, M-F 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, overtime as needed

Location The Role

Lead complex mechanical product development for composite radome structures, including design, analysis, and manufacturing support using ANSYS and CATIA.

Responsibilities
  • Perform finite element analysis (FEA), structural evaluations, and other engineering simulations as required using ANSYS
  • Design engineering including mechanical, structural, and electrical
  • Mentoring of junior engineers
  • Manufacturing engineering, ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner
  • Coordinating with others to develop improvements in production quality and cost reductions
  • Diagnosing problems in production and providing recommendations and training
  • Recommending any materials and equipment required to improve productivity, efficiency, or quality
Preferred Skills

  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience developing manufacturing aids, jigs, fixtures, and process instructions

Qualifications & Experience

Required qualifications:

  • BS ME with a minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with ANSYS FEA / CFD analysis software
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with CATIA CAD software
  • U.S. citizen capable of obtaining and/or maintaining a DoD Security Clearance
